I have a Commodore Amiga 500 and my power-supply has broken.
I have oppened it and found an optical coupler wich is out of order (I presume it is there to prevent the supply from working without being connected to the computer.)
The trouble is it is impossible to find one of this things around here. Or even
the whole power supply...
Another trouble is there is no information in the back of the power supply
concernig what voltage is to be supplied to the computer and how.
(I could try to make one with that information). Could it work without that device?
